About Physio

Physiotherapists are specialised in the body's musculoskeletal system. This complex system includes your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves and allows you to move, work and be active. If you have pain or other symptoms due to these structures then physiotherapy is for you.

Physiotherapists are regulated by the Health Professions Council (HPC). The HPC regulate all medical practitioners other than doctors and nurses, who have their own governing body. The HPC ensure all physiotherapists maintain a suitable standard of proficiency. Please ensure when seeking physiotherapy treatment that your practitioner is registered with the HPC.
